drilling nightmare walls, help!

Them walls do throw up problems when drilling.
have been using a 3.5mm sds bit for drilling these type of walls,it cuts through the hard stones not around them,then work up to the required size ie next 5mm then 7mm.

We have a cheap SDS from aldi, it does the job, but it's heavy. I'd recommend paying a bit more and getting a lighter one. The weight makes a big difference when using for a period of time.
