I've lost count of the number of times I've been asked to repair an unbranded tap of the sort you've shown. Even if I took it to pieces and took the cartridge to my local supplier, he would a) not have the part because his accountants have told him that 'stock costs money', and b) wouldn't know where to start unless I could help with a maker's name and/or model. That would equate to wasted time for me, wasted money for you.

Sadly, with so many unbranded products being bought, it's not a problem that will go away soon.

as mentioned by others, the tap could be an imported unbranded tap. They are often clones of known taps, your tap looks like a variation of the rangemaster ellipse single lever monoblock tap.

To access the cartridge you have to first remove the top handle part, have a look at the rear of the top handle for a securing grub screw (could be under a cover) if nothing at the back the tap handle spindle could be removable to expose a securing grub screw.

Then other dismantling is required to remove the cartridge,it needs to be temporarily removed to photo & measure so a replacement can be sourced.

good luck (y)

I had an unknown tap but found a logo and code on the back which helped me ID it.
