Dripping Tap

Hi All,

Wondering how easy is to repair a dripping tap or if should leave the plumber next time he come to service the boiler?



Saw these two videos where it is just about to clean it really - is that pretty straight forward?

With these cartridge taps, the leak may be coming from the seating washer at the back or maybe the ceramic discs themselves.....personally I'd be happier with genuine replacements so the job will be guaranteed success.

If you attempt a repair, just be mindful on your tap (assuming the same as photos uploaded), you may need a box spanner or deep socket to remove.
