Dropped Kerb here

I have had all relevant permissions for a dropped kerb outside my house. I have linked a photograph to show you. Would this be ok for a contractor to do, or would the cover on the pavement be an issue?

I'm not sure how the rules apply where you are, but a private contractor cannot provide individual kerbs in essex & london. It has to be done by the approved local authority contractor.

I've heard of cases where people have had to take up private constructed drop kerbs and have them relaid.

Might not be the case where you are, but could be worth a check

the problem you might have there is the (presumably) cable TV "manhole" near the kerb...
