hi all. hope you can help me. i have a utility room that i am renovating. i have removed the old conti board and batons that was on the walls to reveal brickwork that looks like it has been painted in the old white wash emulsion, my questions are. can i get a insulated plaster board that i can dot and dab straight on the wall, as 3 of the walls are external walls, if so will the ordinary dot and dab adhesive bond to the old white wash walls once they have been dusted off and uni bonded.

many thanks
Dave

perhaps better asked in the plastering forum? I'll give the MOD's a nudge to move it..

thanks for the link. i now know i can get the boards but need an answer to the other question which is that the walls are covered in what i believe to be the old white wash emulsion, if i brush them down and give them a coat of uni bond will the adhesive bond to the wall ?
