Drywall adhesive prior to tiling

Hi all

I've just used drywall adhesive to fill some quite large areas in between a worktop and window before tiling. Its an inch deep in some parts, about half a metre wide, 15CM high. How long will I have to wait for it to dry out before I can tile over it?

Also, should I use a primer before tiling over this?

As it is quite a large area for dry-wall adhesive. I would give at least a three days, so all the moisture in the compound has dried. You do not want to be trap the moisture between tile and wall or your tiles could fall off.
Yes I would recommend prime prior to fitting tiles.
But you must read the manufacturers instructions on the tile adhesive you use, as they will inform you of the priming methods.
