Hi everyone, i have now boarded the awkward wall (//www.diynot.com/forums/plastering-rendering/dry-walling-over-a-lip-beam.362032/) i did it using plain old drywall adhesive which has done the job perfectly.

But now along the top edge of the wall there is a gap that needs filling, what do i use to fill this gap? as i understand it is not correct to fill it in with plaster.

Ryan.

You can fill it with anything, just make sure it is flush and you scrim over it making sure you cover any joint.
