Hi everyone im new on the forum but have found a few interesting topics that im going to read later on.
Any how back to the issue at hand.

I am trying to install a alarm system the system is DSC 1616 pretty straight forward or so i thought.
My problem occured once all the sensors strobe and panel is connected once i power system up ready to program the siren and strobe (read this is also called bellbox) that is mounted outside goes mad. and so does the alarm that i have mounted next to the pc board.

Im confused now as to where exactly i am supposed to connect the strobe up on the pc board. and in the strobe that is mounted outside there are (strobe + -)(siren + -)(led + - )(eol).
where do i connect the strobe and does it need 4 wire as in (+ -, z com) or do i connect it in the pgm with 5.6 k resistor inline.

Sounds like your connecting the bell trigger to the hold off supply.
Not sure of your DSC is the same as here but also try looking at the HEX programming.
