Hello,

I have one of the wickes wet and dry vacs for my garage however I am finding that everything seems to have different size holes for dust extraction.

Does anyone know where you could purchase adaptors for them? I am looking at this router table due to the other one becoming uneven (which I made):

Or this one:

Now I know that the trend had a 57mm dust extraction port so I am wondering where I could get an adaptor for one of these and my other tools?

Thanks

James

There are various taper or stepped hose adaptors available on the market such as this one from eBay

Even Triton does one! As to the router tables, AFAIK the RA1161 is optimised for the Bosch 1617 fixed base router so I'm not sure it will work with other routers and in any case is the Bosch even available in the UK?

BTW, what went wrong with your router table?

I think you can get it from Amazon UK if it is available as I have seen it on there. Brilliant I have seen a few of these but I didn't think any went up as far as 57mm.

As for the router table the perspex rubbed on the wood due to vibration I am guessing and its now no longer level.

Thanks

I know this post is a few months old but I was recently looking for an adaptor for my planer/thicknesser.
The outlet on the planer is 100mm and I needed to reduce it to 32mm to fit my Festool Midi. Axminster have a variety of reducers/adaptors but I couldn't find a suitable one pice so made my own from a strong plastic bottle. I cut the base off and the bottle jammed into the outlet nice and tight. At the neck end I cut a circle out just the right diameter to snugly fit a smaller adaptor and secured it with Gorilla tape. It works perfectly because there are no stepped ridges inside the bottle.
Here is the link for Axminster.
