I hope this is in the right section.

I have a drain cctv camera, at the front of the dvd recorder is the plugs to plug a RCA lead in. I have bought a new lead and connected to a new dvd recorder. The problem I am having is that I can not work out how to record on the additional recorder. What am I doing wrong?

Hi

Looking at the setup, it appears that both front DVR inputs are connected together, to make this work, the output from the camera must be connected to the input of the DVR.

Whichever is the master DVR, look to see if the input can be split off, either by a scart lead if one is available on the DVR or use a Video Distrubution Amplifier and do it that way.
