Dwarf wall supporting suspended floor.

This will only be a block high, with a 4x2 on top, and then joists.

What sort of gap would you leave between blocks to provide airflow? Or if there is an air brick in each 'bay', would you ommit the gaps?

I can forsee the DPC sandwiched in the mortar being difficult to install if there is a gap each block!

You don't strictly need dpc 'over the gaps' :wink:


Why blocks? You could honeycomb using bricks.
