As long as you quote shyte work that's ok.
Well with any contract fixed or estimated then those supplying the goods and/or labour should be excersing reasonable skill and judgement to produce (or have a likleyhood of producing) the job in price or close to as such.
A fixed price does narrow it down considerably but not completely though.
