Not sure if this is a plumbing or electrics question, but here goes!

For a refit in my bathroom and kitchen, I used some plastic pushfit (Speedfit and Hep 2) joints on the copper pipes. I assume that these joints have no provision for maintaining the earthing, so bonding now needs to be attached either side of every plastic joint...

Does that make sense?
Am I right?

Thanks!

You need to fit 4mm² green+yellow cable either side of plastic joints to maintain continuity. Use suitable clamps.

If there are full lengths of plastic pipe these do not need to be bonded but all metal pipes with plastic fittings will.

Thanks for that... as I suspected.
Only plastic joints, not plastic piping

Cheers
