Earth too short in socket

Hi, just changing the sockets in house and one of the double sockets the earth is too short for new socket connections as they on other side on old socket.
Would it be ok to get a wago connector or block and extend in that way?
Any help would be appreciated

Yes, that's ok.

Connect all earth wires together.

If your back box is metal connect the short earth to the back box, (assuming it will reach), and then fit a fly lead from the back box to the socket. Saves having a separate connector block in there.
