Is it OK to join two into one clamp?

Is this suitable or should I have another clamp on the middle pipe going to the bottom one?

Thanks in anticipation.

Better if the wire is not cut for the middle one. Remove the insulation and bend the wire into a "U" round the screw.

Also it is not a bad idea on old pipes to sand paper down to bright copper where the clamp fits. Copper oxide on copper is a form of semi-conductor and is NOT a good conductor.

Thanks for the reply.

The flash has wiped out the shinny copper, it has been rubbed down and all bare wires are U shaped and screwed into the clamps. I think the photo doesn’t show it too well.

We always use ring crimps* with earth clamps as it gives a much neater and more secure connection.

*except if it is an MEB looping onto a second service, but I prefer to run a seperate bond to each service anyway.

What you've done looks OK. Is there a hidden cable linking to the light etc or is it not required?
