My plumber has just installed my new bath

He has used plastic pipes straight to the taps

Do i need to earth the taps and if so how
I cannot see any way to connect an earth to them.
To make thing worse its a double ended bath and the taps
are in the middle at the back asgainst the wall

try searching, this has been discussed before.

However, no there is no need to bond these taps

is it the metal taps i am supposed to be eathing or the pipework

i though the reason for eathing the pipes was to earth the taps

no its to earth the pipe which in effect earth the taps, to keep the voltage between them the same. but since the pipes are plastic, there is very little chance of them ebcoming live
