Easy fix to fix treadmill fuse?

The fuse blew because of a fault, so you need to find the fault, which could be any one (or more) components, such as :-
A) Motor windings or commutator
B) Motor brushes faulty (worn)
C) Drive triac failed
D) Main rectifier failed
E) etc etc
and that's apart from what you already know have failed (fuse and varistor)
What do you have in the way of test equipment. As a minimum you'll need a multimeter and knowledge of to how to use it.

Cheers for everyones help, with the weather changing for the better the wife is running outside more, she wants a new one at some point as the trewdmil, is quite narrow and she wants a wider one. I'm off work in a few weeks and maybe see if I can sort it myself (can't break it anymore than it is), so could you guys list the 3 things that look like the problem.
Thanks
If you had answered the questions people asked you, you wouldn't be getting a host of pointless speculations.
