Hi - wonder if someone can give me a bit of information. Following a visit from a W Bosch technician today the 'eco' button on my 40cdi conventional boiler (not combi) has been lit up. When I look this button up in the manual it just says 'not applicable'. It wasn't lit before the visit, it have pressed it and nothing happens.

I just wondered what the eco button is and what it is supposed to do as I can't find any information about it.

Thanks

As far as I'm aware, the 'Eco' button turns of DHW preheat on combi boilers. As you say you have a conventional, it probably doesn't make any difference whether this feature is on or not, although I am surprised it's even possible to enable it.

That's what I thought. I don't understand why it is now lit up.
