I had an Ecodan air source system installed in November. The red expansion vessel shows zero pressure all the time, no idea when this started happening. The hot water is fine but two of the radiators only get warm at the bottom. When the water heater comes on the grundfos pump goes off i.e. the lights go off completely.

Any ideas ?

The pressure probably just needs topping up from the fill loop, the rads cold at the top are probably full of air so need bleeding and the Air Source boiler will working in either heating or hot water modes but not both at the same time. There are settings you can change for hot water or heating priority and you can set a timer from within the controls for water heating if you have set the system to heating priority.

I would look around the unit for the fill loop before attempting to bleed rads, it will be on the cold water pipe and is probably a quarter turn valve with a plastic handle. I'm surprised the display doesn't show a fault code for low pressure? Also the controller will have two sets of settings for "User" and "Engineer/Installer" it is very easy to find out how to get into the installer menu but be very careful about changing settings in this. Heating or hot water priority is normally in the "User" settings as are the timers.
