Hi guys,

BACKGROUND
New UPVC french doors have been fitted, and have plastic cavity closers fitted to the vertical reveals (the horizontal, top one, is a steel lintel, with keying gooves.

I need to plasterboard all the reveals. For the verticals (where cavity closers are), I intend using plaster bonding agent as a coating on the cavity closers, so then , once dry, it provides a better surface for the dot and dab.

A plasterer I know from back home said that , for the horizontal (under the steel lintel), he wouild just use a very strong adhesive, such as "no more nails" to stick the plaster board to the undrside of the lintel, hence no dot and dab.

MY MAIN QUESTION
I'm thoughtful about where the actual plasterboard "joins" or abutts the upvc window itself. (Note - it is literally just the sqare frame, there is no internal plastic beading on the inside, although I coul add it if it was needed (but not sure why ? - I saw some pics somewhere, so it made me curious). Should I be using som sort of (edge?) bead on the plasterboard where it meets the actual window frame ? OR should I just butt the board up to the frame, and mastic it when all done ?

Any advice appreciated - cheers in advance. also - feel free to challenge any of the assumptions I'm making in the "Background" bit

I used edge bead, but only because my boards don't touch the frames; they've all got a shadow gap. The plasterers that did my FIL's place didn't bead the board edges adjacent to frames
