I need to tile around this window and would like some ideas on how to finish it. Do you guys always use edge trim?
If I use the trim on the outer sides, wouldn't the inner sides look bad?

Any idea on doing a reasonable job.

If 45 degree cuts is the answer, does anyone got any tips on doing them without taking too long?

I've cut 45 degree angled around my last bathroom window, but that was for a full depth window ledge. Easy enough to do on a diamond wheel tile cutter, the bed usually tilts up to allow the angle.

The edge can be a bit sharp though. How wide is the lip/window ledge? You might be better getting some 1" or 2" wide upvc strips and using them around the window for a neat finish.

trim/pvc/or an edging tile depends on what type of tile your fixing..i.e stone tiles dont look good with a trim imo anyway..
