Ei3000mrf vs Ei168RC - whats the difference?

Hi Guys,

Probably a silly question but I cant see an obvious answer - whats the difference between these 2 units please? Im just wanting to interlink 3 smoke alarms and a heat alarm so as I understand it I can use the Ei3000mrf module but what does the base unit offer that this doesnt?
