I recently had two electric showers fitted upstairs in my house and since the second one was fitted we've noticed fluctuating temperatures and when they are both operating at the same time they both run stone cold. Is this a lack of flow and is there a chance they'll ever work together?

they're in different bathrooms and are isolated by seperate switches

Thanks

It would be rare to install two electric showers such that they could operate at the same time, because the current drawn could exceed the capacity of the entire installation.

Are they on separate circuits?

It does sound as though the water pressure may not be high enough to support 2 showers on together.

It's the working water pressure thats important, not the standing pressure when nothing is being used.

If they are 9Kw plus showers then the problem will be worse.

Take note of Softus reply regarding your electrics, as 2 showers on together, especially if 9Kw or more, will be using nearly the full amps supplied to your house.
