Hi there, the door of my washing machine won't open. the make is electrolux EWF 1087. It's 2 years old. There are washing stuck inside. HELP

Electolux washing machine door won't open

The door won't open if there is water inside.
Perform emergency emptying according to your user manual..or like this:
Pull out the plug from the power socket & close the water tap. Open the the pump door (lower right hand side at the front of the machine). Place a bowl on the floor and put the end of the emergency emptying hose into the bowl. Remove the plug in the end of the hose, the water should gravity drain into the bowl. When the bowl is full, put the plug back in the hose. Empty the bowl & repeat the procedure until water stops flowing out.
When the water is drained place an old towel or similar on the floor to catch any excess water that might run out then unscrew the pump filter & check for blockages (lumps of clothing fibers, hairpins, coins, rubber bands etc, etc). Good luck
