Electric Boiler?

Customer is in mansion block having HW and 2 rads provided by central boiler. This leaves only 4 radiators, heated by now defunct gas boiler in the flat. Probably only about 5-6 kW.

I'm considering offering an Electric Boiler, (to save space, and need for Landlord's cert's. Also the condensate would be a major pain - pipe up and over the kitchen door, from a condensate pump - ugh.)

Anyone have any comments from using one of these? Trianco do one which is 6 kW.

Hi Chris, we've installed one in a flat as the customer wanted something that they could turn on when they want, it's a holiday flat. They are delighted with it, heats up quickly and it's on a low tariff, you can phone the leccy supplier and see what the can do tariff wise and if you want more heat just add another boiler.
