electric oven ..no heat

please advise me ....my belling electric oven is no longer getting hot...the fan still works and so does the grill but not the oven ...when i was cooking the electricity went off when i flicked the switch on the electric box to put it back on the oven went cold ...i t assume it was the cause of the electric going off ...is my heating element broken or something else caused the electricity to go off and the oven not work thanks

Sounds deffo like the element to me.
do a continuity test across it

thanks for replying...but i am a civilian!! what is a continuity test and is it something we can do our selves or shall we just get a new element and put it in.

Does the oven have a timer?

I've been caught out in the past with these as the timer needs to be set before the oven will work.

As it all stopped working after power was lost it seems to be a possibility.
