Hi had a look at an oven today and the cooker oven was not turning on ie. the light on the knob didn't come on and the oven didn't get hot.

next to the main oven is a mini oven exact same thing and that works fine, light on knob works get's hot etc.

any ideas what it could be?

TIA

I see a plate cover with 4 screws and a fan behind it is that what you mean?

undo the element and it should read 30 ohms ish .check ebay for one about a tenner .stat about 30 quid .

It's a belling,Glen dimplex cooker, range style.
serial no. 060800479

Has anyone got MI's for this? if so can I have a copy please.

If element was not working would that take out the light on the knob also?

light on the tap should at least come on shouldn't it?

the light on the knob is the themostat that controls the temp .if the element blows it can take element out as well ,no m i available go to you tube and punch in cooker element and it shows makes and models and how to fit. you need to test element otherwise you change stat and still wont work you have wasted the cost when its poss the element gone in first place.
