Hi
I have a Gainsborough 10.5KW electric shower fitted, with a 45A isolator switch in the hallway outside the bathroom, and a 300ma RCD in the consumer unit. About a month ago, the RCD tripped while I was in the shower. My wife reset the RCD and the shower came back on, and has worked since. However it is about half as hot as it used to be - you have to turn the temp control to max to get it warm, which slows the flow right down.
I have looked inside it but the only fuse I could find - 100ma - was intact.
Any ideas what has happened?
Is it time to buy a replacement?
Thanks for any help.

sounds like one of the elements in the shower failed. That small fuse will be for the control electronics, not the element.

You need a new shower by the sound of it, unless the element is replaceable.
