Electric shower, low pressure light, no water coming out...

Hi,
I have an electric shower, which all year has been fine. however, the low pressure light is now coming on and no water comes out. it doesn't always do this, but when it does i have to turn the shower off and on again for about 15 minutes before it'll work.
i had a similar problem last year, but it cleared up and i forgot all about it.
it has happened twice in 2 days now, can anyone tell me why this could be or how i can fix it?

Check the inlet for dirty filters

What is the pressure like on your taps?

Tap pressure fine, no other problems

How do i check the inlet?

you will have to disconnect the shower where the mains go into it and there maybe a filter
