electric shower not working

my electric shower has power and water but when i try to turn it on it says low pressure and no water comes out at all i've been in the house a year no problems beforehand i pulled the shower apart and there was a burned looking diode i think and a spark when i tried to turn it on the led switches to low pressure and i've got no water
do i need to buy a new shower unit or can it be repaired
glad to receive any help

Im no expert on showers as i try not to get involved in domestics but i would think that you require a new shower. You yourself dont know how to replace the component or indeed if this is the only damage. It would cost you as much to get someone to repair it (if you managed to find one) as it would to get a new shower.

Either way, a burnt component doesnt sound good and what is this spark you talk of?
