electric shower outlet pipe

the water of our electric shower started coming out from a little pipe behind the main shower hose. what is the cause and how it can be reftified

PRV has blown and needs investigation to establish why ,usually back pressure.

thanks for the speedy reply. I think the reason was that is the head of the shower scaled up. if I clean or replace the head and re instate the little black ball, would that sort out the issue, if so, where I can buy the little black ball of the PRV. I search for it everywhere but I can not find it.

Is the ball not still in the valve just loose?
If not, you probably will have to buy the whole PRD.

Yes replacing it will sort it once head cleaned.

You can't - it's a one time use device. You need to buy a new PRV.

What make/model shower is it? Had to do one on a Triton Seville, easy enough to do. Just makes sure you turn power off!
