I had an electric tin opener, until a cog got ground out, but every single manual tin opener has failed since then. To the point of getting a bullhorn opener. Are new cogs available for electric tin openers/knife sharpners, or are modern tin openers just rubbish? Or have tins got tougher?
I prefer to repair an electric tin opener, with a cog, that will restore it's function, rather than repeatedly buying tin openers that fail. Even the bullhorn is hard to use, (for those old enough to remember them),,.
