Hi I am looking for help with my kitchen diner as I am going mad running every different option though my head.
We are looking to put down electric underfloor heating and tiles.
The issue is that there are 2 subfloor types concrete and timber and both floors are uneven. My plan is to remove the old floor boards and replace with structural ply. Should I then put down the insulation board and the heating mats over both subfloors and cover with a self levelling screed or should I level the whole floor first, then insulate it, put down the heating mats and bed them in a further layer of SLC (as per manufacturers instructions) before tiling the whole room?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
