Hello

I will be tiling our dining/ kitchen and hall floor soon.
I want to install underfloor heating in these areas and am currently looking at heating mats/ribbon , to warm the floor tiles and take the chill out of the floor ,( not too worried if does not heat room up as a radiator would.) Looking at 100 watts to 150 watts sq. metre.

Unsure if need to put some insulating boards down on top of the screeded surface before laying the heating mats , and then the tile adhesive on top of the mats followed by the tiles .
How would I secure the insulating boards to the screeded surface if I need to do this ?
Also , looking to connect the thermostat to a spur from a socket with a 13amp FCU in between the socket and the thermostat.

Any advice and comments appreciated.
