Hi,

Did a full re-wire on my parents house last week, split load CU in the house and also a split load in the garage feeding garage and outside electrics etc.

Fed the Garage CU via 6mm2 cable ample for the load. When filling in the forms, for the house I put in the main protective conductors:

Earth conductor - material copper - csa 16mm2

for the garage do I put 2.5mm2 from the 6mm2 cable or 16mm2?

My gut feeling is to put 2.5mm2.

Thanks in advance,

Gaz

shouldn't the garage have it's own EIC as it's a sub circuit?

also, if the garage is detatched, then you really shouldn't be feeding it with T+E..

The Garage is joined to the house.I have filled out two EIC's just unsure what to put for the csa for the earthing conductor, either 2.5 or 16mm2

One EIC, two shedules of test results

Cheers Adam
