I have just turned the third bedroom of our house into a bathroom. I have used a zone 1 light as it is not to far away from the top of the shower however i'm a little confused about the switch. The current switch is a normal rocker type on the wall as you enter. From the measurements this means it is in zone 3 which is not allowed a rocker switch. Would i be able to instal one of these instead.

The website seems to think so but it is also next to an enclosed shower unit and there is no mention of showers! Thanks for any advice.

Not too sure whether you can use them but ifyou can;t I've fitted one of these to our bathroom. Dead easy to wire up and it works a treat. The added benefit to our setup is the fan does not have a timer so I can set this to swtich off after 1min of you leaving the room so in effect like having a timer on the fan.

Hope this helps

1) You can use an ordinary switch in Zone 3 if you want to, provided it's not going to get splashed or suffer from condensation dripping onto it, but a lot of people don't like to.

2) What's wrong with a traditional ceiling pullswitch instead of expensive technological solutions that could break down, or in the case of the PIR will have the light come on in the day?
