Hi all hope you can point me in the right direction I have a electrolux inspire ewn16781 that doesn't seem to want to spin in the diagnostic I can get the drum to spin both ways upto 500 rpm but wont spin on any program. Cant see any reason why I know its not the brushes as there isnt any so thinking it must be a control fault. I'm fairly reasonable with a soldering iron so if it's components that need changing it shouldn't be a problem just don't know where to start any advice will be appreciated as the washing is starting to build up cheers all oli

what was the error code?
There isn't one which is what has me confused. I did have an e41 code but took door apart and have fixed that so now showing no codes.it runs fine on test program apart from the fast spin. Have noticed a stagnant water like smell from machine but all pipes and filter have been cleaned. Was given machine from mother in law who lives in hard water area so ran through a couple of doses of citric acid to see if that would solve it but even though stuff came out it still smells and wont spin
Just an update to anybody having the same problem have fixed it. was a problem with pressure switch after changing most of the caps checked all piping and fixed it by disconnecting the pressure pipe from pressure switch running with switch connected to pcb but not pipe which then allowed me to run at full spin speed then reconnected pipe and now all works. Not sure if this reset switch as it isnt the normal mechanical type but has its own pcb
