Electrolux EWX14450 washing machine

Hello

I have a problem with a washing machine an Electrolux EWX14450. If you try to change the program setting it stops working intermittently. Having searched on the internet I have discovered that it is to do with the dryer function which interferes with the program control. The solution is to disconnect the dryer and the four wires at the back.

Here are some pictures of the machine with the top off it. Are the four wires those at the back of the silver chamber?

I think a better explanation about "change the programme settings" might help. Do you mean when you first switch on or part way through a cycle. Do you have the same problem with all programmes ie. wash, spin only, dry only?
You need to identify the wires you refer to better, as I am not familiar with that machine and cannot see from the pic., but if I had to guess I would say the 4 wires are those in the 3 white plugs as 2 of the wires at the rear appear to be heating element connectors which would probably throw up an error code if disconnected.
