Please ... has anyone got this hood? I need a dimension off it and Electrolux are proving really difficult - won't put me through to tech support etc. and can't understand what I'm on about.

I need the horizontal dimension from the back of the hood to the centre of the ducting hole (basically the ducting has to fit behind a lintel and I'm not sure it will do).

Really desperate so if anyone can help I will be their eternal friend/slave etc.

Thanks for answering ... though really can we all stop this linking-to-google, thing? It's neither funny nor useful. I would imagine I'm a significantly more advanced user of the net than you are - (judging by my average skill - nothing personal) so I actually find it faintly insutling when someone puts this link in their reply - effectively saying, 'Well, have you actually LOOKED'? Because .... yes, I really have looked! Including:

1 speaking to Electrolux
2 getting hold of manual (not via Service Force which doesn't have it)
3 googling various - which produces some great conflicting results (ie significant discrepancies between so-called identical measurement).

So ... what I cam on these forums to ask was whether someone had one or had fitted one. It's new though, so it's a slim chance.

I actually need the measurement from the back of the hood to the centre of the duct outlet - and if you can find that online - in some official form, the forums be my witness, I'll chuck a fiver in your paypal account.

ANYWAY, if you've got this far, thanks for answering but don't assume everyone who isn't in the DIYNOT inner-sanctum is posing an idiotic question. THis place is a great source of help from time to time - and I really appreciate it. (Plus I do my best to help others from time to time ). What's more the wit of some posters is similarly prized. Links to lmgtfy are neither helpful nor witty.

Um ... rant over.

ps Can you tell I'm in the middle of more house renovations, another baby due soon, a mountain of *normal* work to complete, short of sleep (and humour)?
