When the wealthy are able to use money to influence politics for vested self interest, that is not good for society.

You would be very upset if you knew that countries with more progressive left wing policies, which you would call socialist, have a better standard of living than U.K. and USA.

Well aware of that, having visited most countries in Europe. But they have higher taxes which I also don't like among other things.

I love the UK, but if we could stop illegal immigration and could improve our transport infrastructure it would be a better country.

Same way he needs money he get a loan based on the shares and still does not pay tax on loans.

Churchill had the gift of the gab.
That's what a public school education does for ya.
He was right about Capitalism though.
Capitalism can create wealth but there is nothing in the rules that says that the wealth generated has to be distributed fairly.
That's why you need some form of socialism.
