Tesla Gigafactory Europe to be built in Germany, not UK, as Elon Musk blames Brexit uncertainty

In a Telegraph column published three days after the referendum result, Johnson said: “[We] who agreed with this majority verdict must accept that it was not entirely overwhelming.”

He sought to reassure remain voters that the UK would still have access to the single market: “EU citizens living in this country will have their rights fully protected, and the same goes for British citizens living in the EU. British people will still be able to go and work in the EU; to live; to travel; to study; to buy homes and to settle down,” he said. “The only change – and it will not come in any great rush – is that the UK will extricate itself from the EU’s extraordinary and opaque system of legislation.”

Now stop talking the same nonsense over and over and over

The UK would still be able to trade freely within Europe even if it left the EU, Michael Gove has said.

The justice secretary said the UK could be part of Europe's free trade area to avoid trade tariffs, even if it was not a member of the EU single market.

Michael Gove, chancellor of the duchy of Lancaster
In April 2016, Michael Gove said the UK would have the best of both worlds. “Outside the EU, we would still benefit from the free trade zone which stretches from Iceland to the Russian border,” he said. “But we wouldn’t have all the EU regulations which cost our economy £600m every week.”

I truly thought I was voting for was a complete clean break from the EU.
Well well...

So along with most people, quitters or remainers, you're not going to get what you wanted...

Surely you'd want to have a proper say on the matter as it now stands?

If not, then it's time for you to stfu!

A lot more than the number of countries that trade on WTO rules only, which mad Brextremists tried to persuade us was the best option.

Because nobody can show it to be advantageous.

It is just a magic word thrown in by numbskulls like Smith and Farage who do not understand what it means.

The UK is a WTO member.

Founder member of GATT which went on to become the WTO, the EU is of course a member as is each member state in it's own right. Most EU trade agreements are based, verbatim, on WTO agreements.
I'm not sure why the 'leftards' try to play down the WTO so much, the WTO will be around long after the EU has ceased to exist.

Would you rule out the Quitters being able to actually agree what it is they want?
Probably. In the same way as others who vote for the same political party as you have different ideas of what they want but we don’t always get what we want, do we? Ask any remainer. :ROFLMAO:
