I have a situation where I need to remotely (~10m) operate a battery powered light which is going to be moving, the ideal solution would be a kinetic switch. The searches I've done sofar are all mains powered.
I know the simple solution is very obvious except I have too many trees in the way to see it.

What very simple solutions are out there?

The TP-Link (Tapo) smart switch is battery powered, so it does not matter what voltage is being switched. I use one to power an outside lamp which is also PIR controlled, with no neutral to the switch.

I looked at that earlier but someone said they are wifi controlled.

Well, there are these,
which work on 12 V or between 3.6 V and 24 V,
with a claimed range of at least 50 m.

Brilliant thank you.
Not only not but I have a similar product to the suggestions in some redundant kit.

As always its a case of not seeing the wood for the trees, the discussion we'd had was based around Quinetic or wifi switches (one of the others involved is mad keen on automation and suggested a rediculous solution) and standard domestic kit had got firmly in my head.
