Im still trying to find a use for my wireless receiver. I want to try and use it as a second switch for a bedroom light.
Iv taken a look at the wiring at the light but I'm not sure how I would connect the receiver and still maintain use of the normal switch. Iv had a fiddle around and just end up tripping the circuit.
One query I have is why my switch neutral wire goes into L on the light fitting.
I guess the switch needs power which its getting by spuring off from the feed and there is no other option but to use the neutral as a switch wire? Am I in the right ball park?

It's a strange one, wiring looks good...maybe it's just the kind of receiver I bought...?
Main switch off = receiver works
Receiver in off position = main switch works
But cannot have main switch on and then turn off with reciever.
Tbh I don't actually need that function for my purposes but just curious, again, maybe it is the receiver type. The solution is great because the main light switch is behind the door (oversight when we were getting the rewire done!)
Can't thank you enough for your assistance! Learnt alot so far.
No, of course not. It is not designed for that.
You just wanted the receiver to work with what you have.
Temporarily disconnect the main switch if you want to.
