I am about to buy & install 4 of these downlights:

for a bedroom lighting project.

How do you go about selecting the appropriate transformer(s) to use with them?

I was kind of estimating 50W each = 200W = 200VA ish, so I could either install 4 of these
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/LTYT50.html
(ie, one to serve each luminaire)
OR
cheaper & more efficiently, just 1 of these:
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/LTYT250.html
and then wire all the luminaires in paralell from its DC output.

Also,
are there special wiring kits for connecting the luminaires to the transformers and/or each other? or do you just have to buy appropriate wire?

I have installed an ELV downlighter kit before that comprised the 4 luminaires, transformer and a snap-together 12V harness, so never had to worry about the ELV wiring.

Help greatly appreciated & looked forward to with great relish.
In case I appear totally novice-like, I'm technical, competent & experienced with domestic LV but have never DIY-ed ELV lumis before.
