installed some of these bloody things today, however when switched off 1 of them has a faint glow to it, any ideas what is causing it and what is the best solution

Yes, it will be induction from other circuits. Sometimes caused because some of the wiring does not have earthed cpc.
Sometimes this can be fixed just by using another maufacturer's low energy lamp - or just put in a filament lamp!
