I feel stupid but I can't figure out how to change the bulb (Halogen?) in an Emcalite kitchen downlighter. I can pull the light down from its housing and see the wires going in but I cant see how to take it apart to change the bulb. Can anybody help, please.

Did you manage to figure out how to change the light bulbs? If so, please could you tell me how to do it? I have the same problem. Thanking you in anticipation
Hi Alison. It took time and effort. The shell containing the glass is just a push fit but very tight. I started to lever mine off with a small screwdriver, trying not to scratch the surface. After much levering, the shell and glass came off, exposing the halogen bulb. I changed the bulb and replaced the glass and shell. Hopefully it will be easier to open next time. Good Luck with yours.
