I'm grouting my floor with Bal Microcolour and have mixed as per instructions, 4 part powder + part water , weight. It very runny, is this correct?

As I have already used it, will it cause an problems later on? Should I try to remove it and mix a thicker batch.

I'm grouting walls tomorrow and don't want to make the same mistake

Thanks

Should be the consistancy of peanut butter, the smooth type not crunchy

It should be like a thick peanut butter. It's cement based so using too much water will weaken it. It might be ok or it might not - hard to say. If it's not strong, you'll probably be able to remove it easily enough when it's gone off anyway. I'd leave it and see how it goes.

Thanks for quick response.

I have dug out the grout and re-applied with fresh peanut butter. I could not have faced re-doing it in 6 months time if it had cracked.
