Hi
We are well on with updating our bungalow. We had all the windows replaced, new central heating, re-plastered (all well dried out), bathrooms, painting, etc. We still need door and kitchen fitting and some more painting before we can move in. We aren't rushing so another 6-8 weeks at least.
We've not needed the heating up till now however the temperature has dropped and the house is obviously feeling colder. I don't want it to start feeling damp and musty so am thinking about setting the heating (not intending to have hot water on) to come on for a few hours a day. Say 60 degrees 2 hours in the morning 2 hours in the evening/night. Is this needed? Would I just be better to leave heating on 24/7 but just set at 60 degrees? Or am I just wasting money?
Cheers
Simon
