Hi,
Is it OK to install a fan in the ceiling (8ft) above a shower. Wiring will be through loft to switch in bedroom

Depends what sort of fan. What did the instructions say?

Forgot to say this will be ipx4 rated fan and and wiring will be checked by certified electrician/building inspector. Tryng to avoid cutting a hole in the ceiling in the wrong place!!

Should be ok if it's ELV ie 12v.
