Can anyone suggest a do it yourself method of replacing this floor in my en suite bathroom ?

I'm a DIY novice but would like to get this job done myself:

Types of flooring suggestions appreciated.

Lino over the top?

Remove cork and tile?

What would you like to do?

We laid laminate in ours. I suppose it'll eventually start to look it's age but we're not too splash-happy and it's lasted over 2 years now and still looks as good as when laid. It's not even the bathroom grade stuff.

I'd like to put down something simple and easy, I don't fancy cutting tiles to be honest. Can I just go to B&Q and pick up squares of lino to put down ?

Of course you can, stick straight over. Just make sure you don't mimic the exact same pattern and position, ideally the new tile seams should not be directly over the existing ones.

6mm plywood screwed down for stability and tiles thereafter.
